"How did I get invloved with these fools?"

This past week we decided to shake things up a bit. Instead of broadcasting out of room 313 like we normally do, we went one room down the hall where we were joined by Karla Davis. For four seasons (2004-2007) she was a standout for the women's soccer team at UNCG. Here in 2011 she is a rising country musician with as much talent on the guitar as on the soccer field (believe me, that's a lot of talent.) We did a short Q & A with here and she preformed two songs from her debut album Here I Am.Personally, I loved Whiskey's Got a Job to Do, but she also sang Why, which was great as well.

We also broke down the upcoming Super Bowl match up, which in case you somehow don't know what that match up consists of, it's the Steelers and Packers. If you want my personal opinion (since that's why blogs exist, right?) I feel the Packers ought to win this game, but it should be a close one. Any way enough about that Super Bowl thing. Thanks to Katei, our promotions director (she took these stellar photos above) and Reed, our productions director, for helping out with this. I don't feel like I have emphasized enough how awesome everyone at WUAG is.
